In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I welcome you to this glorious family of God.
I have no doubt in my mind that your steps have been divinely guided to this Church and you are full of expectations.
Acts 3:1-3 – Most times we leave our various homes with the premise that it is another Sunday and go to church as usual. For some, it does not matter even if they get there late as long as they put up an appearance. Some even believe it saves them from the pressure of Pastor asking after them about not coming to church. To some, it is an opportunity and avenue to catch up with the latest gossip, show off and engage on an unholy alliance in the church.

If you are in church for reasons given above and other similar ones, you have not done well. Your expectations and the passion deploy to get whatever you want, will invariably determine how quick the Lord will respond to your expectations. If not for sheer luck, the Man at the beautiful gate would have lost his heaven preordained miracle. The man has a pre-set mind; he wasn’t expecting healing but alms. Most of us are like this, we leave the real thing and go for unprofitable, we pass through and wait at the gate called beautiful, yet nothing is beautiful in our expectations.

Therefore, when we go before His Presence, let us go with the expectation that the Lord will speak to us and meet our needs according to His will. Always identify the exact thing you want the Lord to do for you and family, and your expectation shall not be cut off.
